Utah state soil
The State Soil of Utah is the Mivida Soil Series
Mivida soils are moderately extensive in the southeastern part of Utah, where they have an extent of more than 200,000 acres. These soils are used for rangeland, irrigated cropland, wildlife habitat, and recreation. The natural vegetation consists of Wyoming big sagebrush, galleta, blue grama, and Indian rice grass.
